Simply flip the lever, and the workpiece is clamped: The new eccentric clamping screws with clamping levers from Norelem are ideally suited for tool-free clamping—for instance, in assembly and laser processing areas involving frequent workpiece changes. They are highly versatile and intuitive to operate—requiring neither a torque wrench nor an Allen key, as they are actuated directly at the clamping element itself. Norelem has recently added two different versions to its product range, available in various sizes and clamping force capacities.

Eccentric clamping screws featuring an integrated clamping lever offer numerous advantages, particularly in assembly environments where clamping and unclamping operations occur frequently. Thanks to the lever, multiple elements can be clamped in a matter of seconds; furthermore, the handle’s position is fully flexible—adjustable through 360 degrees—to ensure that it creates no interfering contours within the clamping setup. Additionally, these eccentric screws can be utilized to create cost-effective multi-clamping setups.

By employing multiple eccentric clamping screws with levers, clamping pallets can be pre-equipped with several workpieces simultaneously—or fitted with complex fixtures—before being loaded into the machine; this approach results in significant savings in setup time. New Additions to the Clamping Technology Range

Norelem has added new eccentric clamping screws with clamping levers—available in various configurations—to its product range:

  • featuring a hexagonal brass clamping nut, which ensures gentle yet firm and secure clamping of workpieces
  • featuring a serrated washer for clamping raw parts—such as saw-cut sections, castings, and forgings
  • available in thread sizes M6 to M16
  • offering clamping forces ranging from 1.2 to 2.8 kN (depending on the specific model)

The primary application areas for these eccentric clamping screws include assembly and laser processing environments characterized by short cycle times and moderate loads—such as assembly fixtures, inspection gauges, manual workstations, or sub-assembly operations. These products can also be utilized, for instance, on fixture plates for milling operations.
