New practical features and AI integration
With the release of version 2025.2 of its user-friendly software solutions for building accepted and actively used quality management systems (QMS) and integrated management systems (IMS), ConSense GmbH is taking a significant step forward. The new features focus on even better orientation and more efficient control, as well as significantly simplifying routine tasks through AI support. The Aachen-based software company demonstrates how companies can consistently develop their digital management systems.
Processes and Documents – Greater Overview, Less Effort
The new minimap is now available in the process editor of ConSense software solutions. It displays the overall structure and facilitates navigation through complex process landscapes by allowing targeted jumps to individual sections. For the first time, the reason for and due date can be recorded when revising processes and documents. This allows those responsible to more clearly document why a change is being made and by when it must be implemented.
Document Management – Secure Transition to Current Office Formats
Since older MS Office formats should no longer be used from an information security perspective, ConSense supports the transition to modern XML-based document types with the latest version of its software solutions. The file type whitelist defines which file extensions are permitted. Headers and footers are fully converted to current formats during migration. Additionally, Microsoft Sensitivity Labels can be used for printing documents to clearly indicate confidentiality.
Dashboards – Quick Actions and Customized Reports
The ConSense dashboard allows for direct actions, such as creating immediate action items, via the displayed tiles. These can be customized with colors and icons to suit the work context. Furthermore, user-specific lists and reports with custom filters can be created and exported to Excel for further processing.
AI Integration – Instant Content Insights
With the new "Insights" tab, artificial intelligence provides summaries, style analyses, correction suggestions, and optimization tips for processes, documents, and wiki articles at the touch of a button. The AI chat provides support for software-related questions and assists with research on content-related issues in quality management.
Further innovations – clear roles, simplified imports
Numerous additional features round out ConSense Release 2025.2: External employees will now require an explicitly assigned license to log into the system. Furthermore, assets can now be fully imported via CSV in the ConSense GRC module.
"With our Release 2025.2, we are introducing many detailed improvements to our customers' daily work. It is important to us that modern QMS and IMS systems become more understandable, not more complicated, and integrate seamlessly into everyday workflows," emphasizes Dr. Alexander Künzer, Managing Director of ConSense GmbH.
