Rollon Configurator Receives Major Update

Rollon has integrated its product lines for cam rollers and lock nuts into the myRollon Product Center and Configurator. The digital platform also offers three different bearing types and improved navigation.

The myRollon digital platform provides direct and easy access to Rollon’s product portfolio and helps customers find and procure the right linear technology. A comprehensive update now expands the range of products and features and improves the user experience.

Integration of the Cam Rollers and Lock Nuts Product Lines

The cam rollers and lock nuts product lines have been integrated into both the Product Center and the Configurator, thereby expanding the range of components that can be managed directly within the platform. Users can now seamlessly access technical documentation, define product configurations, generate unique product codes, and request quotes specifically for these product families. This integration is another step toward consolidating the Rollon Group’s entire portfolio into a single, unified digital environment.

“This update reinforces Rollon’s ongoing strategy to make myRollon the central hub for all resources, tools, and technical data related to linear and rotary components,” explains Franck Michaux, Digital Transformation Director at Rollon. “By incorporating additional product categories into the platform, we aim to enable an optimized workflow, reduce the need for external tools, and ensure greater consistency across all phases of project development.”

Three New Account Types

In addition, myRollon is introducing three different account types: Standard, Business, and Partner. Each profile is designed to offer tailored access to content, features, and support levels based on the user’s role and needs. This segmentation enables Rollon to provide a more personalized and efficient user experience. Different target groups—from individual engineers to long-standing partners—can use myRollon in a way that best suits their respective business contexts.

“Setting up these account types gives us the opportunity to offer an even more comprehensive and tailored experience within the platform,” says Franck Michaux. “Different users interact with myRollon in very different ways: Some simply need quick access to technical data; others require more in-depth information or closer collaboration with our engineering teams. By structuring access in this way, we can provide each user with the right level of information and tools, thereby increasing efficiency and making the overall experience more relevant.”

Improved User Experience

The latest version of myRollon also focuses on improving usability and navigation. The main menu has been updated and aligned with the visual style of the Rollon Group’s corporate websites. This creates a more consistent and instantly recognizable user interface across all digital touchpoints. In addition, a new “Favorites” feature has been introduced. It allows users to save frequently accessed products and revisit them at any time. This makes it easier to resume ongoing work, compare solutions, and track preferred options, and overall supports a faster and smoother design process.

myRollon: A Comprehensive Digital Tool

myRollon continues to evolve as a comprehensive platform that supports the entire product selection and configuration process. Its structure is based on three core tools, each covering different phases of the engineering workflow:

  • The Selection Tool helps users identify the most suitable solution by analyzing application parameters such as operating conditions, dimensions, and loads. Based on this input, it suggests optimized options that offer a balanced ratio of performance to cost-effectiveness and generates a detailed technical report for each analysis.
  • The Configurator & Interchange tool enables the precise definition of product configurations, the generation of unique product codes, and direct requests for quotes. It also offers a replacement function: by entering an existing product code, users receive a recommendation for the most compatible solution from the Rollon portfolio, which simplifies replacement or upgrade scenarios.
  • The Product Center serves as an advanced digital catalog and provides access to a wide range of resources, including 3D CAD files, technical documentation, maintenance brochures, and additional selection options. This centralized access ensures that relevant information is available at all times during both the design and implementation phases.
