Better control and connection
Parker Hannifin is launching the next generation of its innovative DFplus Gen IV valve series. By expanding the platform with a "D-version," this product supports customer-specific control functions and enables the direct connection and power supply of analog sensors. It is therefore suitable for applications such as pressure control in paper machines, as well as rapid pressure control and relief in high-speed presses.
The new D-version valve adds a second, freely configurable control loop to the direct-operated DFplus platform, enabling customized pressure or position control. For these functions, analog pressure or position feedback systems can be connected directly to the valve electronics, which also supply power to the sensors. DFplus valves have been in use for several generations, and this option is being introduced as part of the fourth generation.
The D-version combines the performance of the DFplus pilot valve with a high-resolution sensor signal interface and a selectable setpoint type for an analog setpoint signal. It supports a freely configurable second control loop and utilizes a standard Class A IO-Link interface, as well as an optional Class B IO-Link variant capable of providing a switchable controller. Sensors connect to the valve electronics via an M12 connector and receive power from the electronics. This option is available for the D1FP, D3FP, and D30FP valve series. Configuration can be performed using Parker ProPXD software or via an IO-Link connection.

They are now available in selected sizes and configurations.
