Valves
Efficiency and performance for other nominal sizes
Bosch Rexroth introduces three new nominal sizes: 80, 100, and 125 of the LC-8X two-way cartridge valve. These energy- and cost-efficient logic valves are now also available for applications with high flow rates. Thanks to the flow-optimized design, pressure losses are significantly reduced compared to the previous series. With an optional operating pressure increased to 450 bar, the series enhances the efficiency of numerous directional, pressure, and combination functions.
With the new nominal sizes 80, 100, and 125, the Bosch Rexroth LC-8X two-way cartridge valve is now available for an even wider range of applications. The integrated stem seal prevents gap filtration. All valve components are designed for operating pressures up to a maximum of 450 bar. This ensures that tightness and functionality are maintained even after 10 million load cycles at maximum switching capacity.
Increased Efficiency
Flow-optimized geometries significantly reduce pressure losses during directional control compared to the previous LC-6X series (sizes 80 and 100) and the LC-2X series (size 125), while also reducing heat generation and cooling requirements. A friction-optimized piston shape and the standard integrated stem seal minimize the risk of internal leakage and power loss, thus reducing energy consumption.
Even the packaging utilizes resources efficiently: The valves are packaged in impact-resistant round cups made from recycled material.
Greater Standardization
Standardizing the valve concept simplifies project planning, engineering, assembly, and maintenance. This reduces process costs, shortens delivery times, and minimizes downtime.
The LC-8X is fully compatible with its predecessor models. Existing mounting covers can be reused, with the exception of stroke limiter covers. This conserves resources and reduces conversion effort during modifications or retrofits.
