Aerzen has over 80 years of experience in compressed air technology and has made a name for itself in this field primarily as a supplier of stages and special units. The blower and compressor specialist is now significantly expanding its product range in the higher pressure range and has added innovative standard air compressors for pressure differentials of up to 13 bar to its product portfolio.

Aerzen offers two new series for compressed air generation: 2-stage, oil-free screw compressors (DS series) and 1-stage, oil-injected compressors with permanent magnet motors (SI series). These compressors combine maximum performance, energy efficiency, and reliability, setting new standards in compressed air technology. They were developed to meet the highest demands and are an ideal solution for making processes even more cost-effective, sustainable, and efficient.

DS Series: 2-stage, oil-free screw compressors

The new 2-stage screw compressors of the DS series are completely oil-free according to ISO 8573-1, Class 0, reliably providing 100% pure process air. The direct-drive compressed air units were designed with maximum energy efficiency, minimal maintenance effort/costs, and extreme durability in mind, guaranteeing outstanding performance in almost all applications at pressure differentials between 5.5 and 10.5 bar.

Energy savings of up to 12% are possible compared to other compressor models available on the market. The compact compressors are available in nine sizes for drive powers from 55 to 315 kW and flow rates from 180 to 2,920 m³/h, and are also suitable for sensitive applications in the food and beverage industry, chemical and process engineering, and medical and pharmaceutical technology.

SI Series: Oil-Injected Compressors with Permanent Magnet Motor

The SI series is a new, single-stage, oil-injected air compressor. Thanks to an innovative screw compressor stage and a highly efficient IE5 permanent magnet motor, it achieves very high energy efficiency (approx. 96%) and enables significant energy savings even in partial load operation. The new Aerzen screw compressors are available in ten sizes from 7.5 to 75 kW and are used in numerous, sometimes demanding, applications with pressure differentials of 5.5 to 13 bar and flow rates of 20 to 756 m³/h.

Pressure and operating temperatures are continuously monitored. This guarantees stable and safe production processes. Other advantages include unique reliability, reduced maintenance requirements, compact design, and low noise emissions with a sound pressure level of approximately 70 dB(A).

New Standards in Compressed Air Technology

Whether for working, instrument, workshop, and process air, or even control air for pneumatic control systems: Aerzen's new compressed air units are at home in all sectors and industries and support the path to greater efficiency and process reliability. They impress with their innovative design, deliver outstanding performance, keep life cycle costs low, and ensure significant cost reductions.

The extensive range of accessories leaves nothing to be desired and allows for targeted adaptation to customer-specific process requirements as well as particularly challenging climatic conditions. "Our stated goal is to offer our customers the full range of products, solutions, and services. The new compressors consistently address customer and market requirements and offer new, cost-effective perspectives in the conveying and compression of air and specialty gases," says Stephan Brand, Director of Marketing at Aerzen.
