Aerzen is expanding its successful Delta Hybrid series in the lower volume flow range. With the new D11S and D16S frame sizes, the compressor specialist is further extending its portfolio of direct-driven screw blowers, creating additional flexibility for economical and energy-efficient process air generation in smaller capacity ranges.

The two new frame sizes now bring these efficiency and technological advantages to new performance ranges.
D11S and D16S: Small Frame Sizes, Big Performance
The smallest of the group is the D11S. This unit is designed for a maximum volume flow of 780 m³/h, proving that true Delta Hybrid performance is not a matter of size. The D16S covers volume flows between 100 m³/h and 1,020 m³/h, adding another finely graduated capacity size to the portfolio. System builders and operators benefit from greater scope for action during system design and a more precise alignment with specific process requirements. Like all Delta Hybrid models, the new units reliably provide 100% oil-free and PFAS-free process air, operating with exceptional efficiency and economy across an extended control range of up to 1:5. Energy savings of up to 37% are possible compared to conventional blowers.
Maximum energy efficiency with maximum reliability
These screw blowers feature an innovative compressor stage with new, highly efficient screw rotor profiles and internal flow optimization, motors rated energy efficiency class IE4 or IE5, and a direct drive system. A frequency converter is already integrated, ensuring precise and stepless adjustment of the volumetric flow rate to meet current demand. Designed for maximum reliability and longevity, these units guarantee absolute process security. Contributing to this are features such as bearings with a theoretical service life of over 60,000 operating hours, pressure lubrication for the rolling bearings, extended oil change intervals of up to 16,000 operating hours, and an oil cooler. According to the manufacturer, these machines also set new standards in terms of noise reduction and rank among the quietest units in their performance class available on the market today.
Integrated Control and Monitoring Technology
The integrated AERtronic unit controller manages the efficient regulation and monitoring of the Delta Hybrid. All relevant operating data can be transmitted to a higher-level control system and accessed at any time via a web browser, tablet, or smartphone. This simplifies operation, ensures a high degree of transparency, and supports reliable process control. The result is maximum machine availability, operational reliability, and efficiency.
Compact plug & play solution
The Delta Hybrid units come fully pre-assembled and pre-programmed, making them ready for immediate connection and operation. Their space-saving side-by-side installation capability—combined with an outstanding volumetric flow rate per square meter—allows for smaller machine rooms, thereby reducing building-related investment costs. Operation and maintenance are performed exclusively from the front and rear sides of the unit.
