Pump
High efficiency and low noise
Parker Hannifin has launched the new T8Mini series of medium-duty fixed-displacement vane pumps. A compact and cost-effective pump for mobile equipment worldwide, the T8Mini achieves very high operating speeds and high operating pressures at a low displacement. Designed and optimized to meet the growing demand for more efficient, low-carbon electric equipment, it is particularly suitable for mini and medium-sized mobile machine applications in the construction, mining, marine and offshore, agriculture, oil and gas, and transportation sectors.
Developed based on Denison's renowned vane technology, the T8Mini retains the best features of the previous T7 vane pump series and adds new features, offering a quiet and efficient pump optimized for electrical systems. Combined with a brushless synchronous electric motor, the T8Mini significantly improves machine performance, delivering high efficiency, long uptime, low noise levels, and low total cost of ownership—all within a compact footprint.
In high-speed applications, the combination of the T8MINI and electric motor results in a significant reduction in overall power consumption and extended operating times, allowing users to achieve high overall efficiency.
Denison's low-noise vane pump technology ensures low noise levels even at the highest operating speeds. The T8Mini therefore reduces environmental impact, especially in urban areas, and protects employee well-being. This ePump also offers a compact and cost-effective solution thanks to a smaller displacement range, which results in lower torque requirements, meaning the pump and electric motor can be smaller.
The new T8Mini series is available in four displacement variants – 6, 8, 10, and 12 cc/rev – with speeds up to 5000 rpm, pressures up to 330 bar, and flow rates up to 60 l/min. These vane pumps can also operate under a wide range of harsh environmental conditions, including cold starts at 5000 cSt and very hot conditions down to 10 cSt.
The cartridge design features double-lip vane technology in a 10-vane configuration. New materials and coatings contribute to improved reliability compared to the T7 series. The T8Mini is up to 40% lighter than the T7A series and up to 20% more compact. The self-priming speed has been improved by more than 38% and the overall efficiency by 14% compared to the T7A series.
"The T8Mini offers the best combination of high performance, low noise, compact size, and cost when selecting the right ePump for your variable-speed application," says Dr.-Ing. Emanuele Gnesi, Project Manager at Parker's Pump & Motor Division Europe. "Being innovative and staying ahead of the competition means tackling new electrification challenges, being bold, and breaking with tradition. Achieving our goal of optimizing the performance of current and future electric machines requires new technical breakthroughs. This was our inspiration in developing the T8Mini: We focus on reducing power consumption, lowering emissions, and improving durability to support customers during the transition."
The pump features an SAE A mounting flange with 2 J744 bolts, multiple threaded ports, and a splined shaft.
