High-quality products for medical technology
For many decades, Kendrion has been developing and manufacturing components and application-optimized assemblies in the fields of fluid and magnetic technology for medical devices. At the Compamed 2025 trade fair, Kendrion will be presenting a new product designed for applications that place particular demands on pressure sensitivity and biocompatibility.
Kendrion produces innovative, standards-compliant solutions for critical applications in medical technology. The portfolio includes important components for ventilators, anesthesia and dialysis machines, as well as for applications in dental, analytical, and laboratory technology. All products are manufactured to the highest quality standards. "Kendrion has a reliable and proven network of sub-suppliers. In addition, we select all materials used with the utmost care. This allows us to keep time-to-market short while simultaneously meeting the high quality requirements of our customers," reports Tobias Klapetke, Market Segment Manager for Fluid Technology at Kendrion. The product design and manufacturing processes are based on the strict requirements of DIN EN ISO 15001.
The majority of Kendrion's products for medical devices come from the magnetic technology and pneumatic and fluid technology segments. Key medical technology components in the magnetic technology sector include pinch valves for precise flow control in laboratory and analytical technology, solenoids as valve actuators, and magnetic locks for securing disinfection and sterilization equipment. In the fluid technology segment, Kendrion offers medical technology manufacturers application-optimized pressure regulators, solenoid valves, and efficient valve assemblies for pressure and vacuum applications, among other products. In addition, Kendrion develops customer-specific embedded and electronic solutions such as intelligent brake controls for operating room distribution systems.
All Kendrion medical technology components are manufactured in compliance with the highest cleanliness requirements. They are specifically designed to provide OEMs with optimal support in meeting biocompatibility requirements according to DIN EN ISO 10993 and DIN EN ISO 18562. In addition to standard products, Kendrion also develops customized solutions quickly and easily based on a modular system. Furthermore, the company offers certified development services in accordance with ISO 13485 for electronics and embedded solutions through 3T (a Kendrion Group company) in the field of Class III medical devices.
