With the new MPXS series, Coval offers one of the most compact intelligent vacuum pumps without sacrificing the technologies that characterize the French brand. Coval's goal is to provide manufacturers with an even more efficient tool for handling non-porous parts at high speeds on robots or automated systems.
The MPXS micro vacuum pump remains true to the design principles of Coval's intelligent vacuum pumps, namely energy efficiency, high performance and communication I/O. All the qualities of the
intelligent Coval vacuum pumps are thus concentrated in the smallest possible space.
Maximum efficiency through compactness and low weight
With a width of only 12.5 mm and a weight of only 87 grams, the MPXS micro vacuum pump is the smallest vacuum pump ever developed by Coval. Thanks to its size, the MPXS can be installed very close to the suction cups and in tight spaces, for faster gripping without load loss, thus ensuring high speed.
Suction power
Thanks to the single-stage Venturi technology, the S-series micro vacuum pumps quickly reach a maximum vacuum of 85%, % and are therefore ideal for dynamic applications with very short cycle times. The two power levels of 15 and 26 Nl/min contribute to their versatility and allow them to optimally adapt to the needs of each application.
Simplified communication
The MPXS micro vacuum pump provides the user with useful information at every stage of operation. Its human-machine interface (MMI) makes it easy to read operating, diagnostic and maintenance information and enables quick parameter setting. In addition, the integrated IO-Link communication interface supports fast and cost-effective installation, consistent diagnostics, central parameterization and efficient communication with higher-level protocols (EtherNet/IP, Profinet, EtherCAT...).
Significant energy savings
The MPXS micro vacuum pumps feature ASC (Air Saving Control) technology, which intelligently regulates vacuum generation and allows energy savings of 90% on average by stopping air consumption when the desired vacuum level is reached.
Versatility
The modular design of the MPXS series offers a wide range of configurations and ensures high flexibility in installation and use to meet the different needs of industrial applications. They are available as individual modules or in islands of up to 8 modules with standard or high-performance fans. The MPXS series is tailored precisely to each application, for maximum efficiency.
