Parker Hannifin is expanding its portfolio of hydraulic control technologies with the new PE06M proportional pressure-reducing valve series. The valve was developed for industrial and mobile hydraulic systems that require efficient performance, precise pressure control, and reliable operation under demanding conditions.
The PE06M is a direct-acting proportional pressure-reducing valve with a spool design. It enables precise control of the reduced pressure with fast response times and high pressure stability. Low hysteresis, low leakage rates, and a very low minimum pressure range support smooth and repeatable pressure control.
The valve is designed for panel mounting in accordance with ISO 6264 and is available in size NG06/CETOP 03. The standard version features a pressure-regulated port A; a function in port B is also available as an option. The PE06M supports flow rates of up to 40 l/min at a pressure drop of 10 bar, as well as a pressure-dependent flow rate of approximately 30 l/min. The maximum inlet pressure is 350 bar, and the regulated pressure ranges up to 170 bar. Leakage is less than 25 cm³ at 200 bar.
Parker Hannifin offers various coil and connection options for integration into different machine designs. These include, among others, JJJ-German-24-V coils with a protective diode and IP69K protection rating, as well as versions with DIN, AMP, and German connectors in various voltage options. Additionally, options with diode and corrosion protection, as well as optional surface protection for demanding environments, are available.
The PE06M series proportional pressure-reducing valve supports machine builders and hydraulic system developers in achieving precise pressure control across a wide range of applications. These include force control and force limiting of cylinders, torque limiting on hydraulic motors, and the supply of secondary pressure systems. “The PE06M is a versatile solution for numerous hydraulic applications, ranging from precise force and torque control in industrial machinery to demanding braking systems in forestry and mining equipment,” explains Frank Henschke, the product manager responsible for the series. Thanks to its linear response, low hysteresis, and low leakage, the valve is particularly well-suited for applications requiring reliable pressure control, reduced energy losses, and optimized pressure accumulator sizing.
