Southco E3 compression latches are known for their durability and quality across a wide range of industries, ensuring panels and flaps are securely fastened, sealed and vibration-resistant in any environment.

But Southco wasn't satisfied with "good enough." In its constant pursuit of innovation, the company redesigned the E3 with a shorter head (4mm versus the usual 6.4mm), ergonomic 180-degree actuation and color-coded visual indicators integrated into the latch that make it easy to see if the latch is open or closed.

As if that wasn't enough, the new compact E3 is manufactured using metal injection molding (MIM). This results in lower manufacturing costs, which also benefits customers. The final product is beautifully polished, looks sleek and unobtrusive, and performs well under pressure.
