The KEL-ERM Vario is an evolution of the proven Icotek cable entry system and was specifically designed for routing cables with and without connectors. Different configurations can be easily implemented without changing the frame: the pluggable dividers allow the frame to be individually adapted to the specific application.

The KEL-ERM Vario is easy and secure to install. The modular system is based on a clear structure and reduces the number of variants to one frame size per version. Fewer components mean less storage and procurement effort, while simultaneously simplifying planning, design, and assembly. This provides additional flexibility for control cabinet construction and device integration. Thanks to its variable configuration, the KEL-ERM Vario is suitable for diverse requirements, from series applications to customer-specific solutions. It can be equipped with varying numbers of large or small grommets, depending on the needs.

Automatic Grommet Fixing

Depending on the grommet used, cables with diameters from 1 to 16 mm (single grommets KT1 to KT15) or 16 to 35 mm (single grommets KT16 to KT34) can be securely inserted, sealed, and strain-relieved. The cable grommets are automatically fixed in the frame during assembly. After all components are installed, the end cap is securely screwed on. The KEL-ERM Vario is compatible with standard cutouts for 10-, 16-, and 24-pin heavy-duty connectors. The KEL-ERM Vario B size uses 46 x 46 mm cutouts (e.g., for controllers, meters). Thanks to the injected seal and the use of single grommets, the high IP65 protection rating is maintained even in flexible configurations.
