The new CLT linear guide system from Rollon is characterized by a high degree of modularity, resilience and reliability and is an ideal solution for the efficient, flexible automation of packaging processes. It includes both curved and straight guides and allows maximum design freedom in construction.

Rollon offers one of the most comprehensive ranges of linear technology in the world. With the new CLT linear guide system from the Nadella brand, the specialist for linear motion systems is further expanding its product portfolio and expanding its range in the area of ​​circular applications. This includes the Rollon Curviline and the Nadella Multi-Motion and with CLT it now has a new addition that sets standards in terms of modularity.

Maximum performance and customization

The CLT system was developed for maximum project freedom and consists of curved and straight guides. By combining the different linear units and runners, oval, rectangular and square solutions can be implemented quickly and easily. The ground tracks ensure a minimum of friction and guarantee smooth and quiet movements. In addition, they were subjected to heat treatment by nitriding. This process guarantees high hardness (60 HRC) and therefore a long service life without wear and good corrosion resistance.

"The system combines the flexibility and high degree of customization of the Curviline - Rollon's curved guide with ball bearing rollers - and the high load capacity and precision of the Multi-Motion - Nadella's curved guides with hardened and ground profiles."

Wide range of radii, lengths and lubrication options

The curved guides are made of nitrided carbon steel and are available in two radii: 165 mm and 302.5 mm - in both 90° and 180° sections. The straight guides are made of nitrided, cold-drawn steel and are available in lengths of 250 mm, 500 mm, 750 mm, 1,000 mm, 1,500 mm and 2,000 mm. The aluminum runners have four fixed rollers, which are preconfigured depending on the radius used, as well as double-row ball bearings for high axial and radial load capacity. All rollers are provided with a splash-proof plastic seal (2RS) and lubricated for life. Optionally, the runners can be equipped with special, slowly detaching wipers (felt pads). These are in continuous contact with the raceways and ensure perfect lubrication. Alternatively, an automatic lubrication system can be integrated, which distributes the lubricant directly into the raceways via an automatic pump, thus ensuring low maintenance even at high dynamics and speeds.

The guides of the CLT system enable high speeds and accelerations and, thanks to the nitriding and optional wipers, are ideal for use in dirty environments. CLT is used in a variety of industries.
