From ultra-compact to flexibly adjustable

KBK metal bellows couplings transmit extremely high torques without backlash, making them particularly suitable for use on servo drives. The product portfolio includes numerous variants in all torque ranges – from standard clamping hub couplings and half-shell designs to particularly compact models.

KBK metal bellows couplings not only cover torque ranges from 0.05 Nm to 5,000 Nm, but also compensate for manufacturing-related axial, angular, or lateral positional deviations on input and output shafts. Machine builders and their users benefit from the use of these couplings through significantly longer bearing service life.

KBK offers its metal bellows couplings in many different versions. In addition to compact metal bellows couplings and half-shell designs, length-adjustable and plug-in models are also available. The KB4LV adjustable couplings were specially developed for applications with tight installation spaces where the coupling length cannot be adjusted with a wrench. As the world's only length-adjustable coupling, the KB4LV transmits torque without backlash. The coupling is suitable for torque ranges from 18 Nm to 500 Nm and shaft diameters from 10 mm to 70 mm.

The axially pluggable KB4P, KB6P, and KB8P metal bellows couplings are particularly easy to install and remove, as no mounting holes are required. KBK manufactures the couplings in several versions with torques from 18 Nm to 500 Nm and for shaft diameters from 8 mm to 70 mm.

The radially mountable metal bellows couplings in the half-shell design are also very easy to install: They enable precise shaft alignment before installation and can be quickly replaced during servicing. KBK offers metal bellows couplings in a half-shell design for torques from 0.5 Nm to 1,400 Nm and shaft diameters from 3 mm to 80 mm.

The KB4HCK is particularly noteworthy: This coupling is characterized by high torsional rigidity and offers the highest torque capacity of all couplings of this type. With the same outer diameter and smaller installation space, the KB4HCK transmits significantly higher torques than conventional metal bellows couplings. KBK manufactures the coupling in seven sizes with torques from 40 Nm to 1,500 Nm and outer diameters from 45 mm to 122 mm.
