The compact Cyber iTAS system 2 servo drive system from Wittenstein consists of a Cyber simco drive 2 servo controller with an integrated, SIL3 and PLe-certified Safe-Torque-Off safety function and a space-saving, high-load-capacity Cyber TAS actuator 2 wheel actuator.
The robust design of the differential drive system with integrated brake and wheel impresses with its industrial-grade simplicity, which significantly minimizes the development, design, construction, operation, and service of AGVs and AMRs.
Special feature: the Next Level Safety Architecture
A unique selling point for drive systems of this type on the market is the streamlined and integration-friendly Next Level Safety Architecture of the Cyber iTAS system 2. It is characterized by fewer cables and connectors, fewer interfaces, fewer components and modules, and reduced assembly and documentation effort. Furthermore, additional safety functions according to SIL2/PLd and SIL3/PLe can be added optionally and tailored to specific requirements. The interface design of the safe bus communication is also very practical, covering a large proportion of the usual safety master controllers with PROFIsafe and CIP Safety.
