Schaeffler, the integrated automotive and industrial supplier, has optimised its online platform Medias to provide users with comprehensive information even more quickly and easily. In addition to tried and tested information on rolling and plain bearings, linear systems as well as mechatronic, digital and service solutions, Schaeffler customers and interested parties now also have access to selection aids, configuration tools and the enquiry or ordering process itself on Medias.

In the course of improving user-friendliness, the platform has also been provided with simplified navigation and a new, responsive design, and new content and functions have been added. The structure as a three-tier user model, consisting of Medias, Medias Plus and Medias Business, covers the different customer needs. The contents are adapted to the respective country and are available in eleven different languages.

For quick access without registration: Medias

All product information, solutions and services from Schaeffler's Industrial division are bundled here, and new content is continuously added. In addition to established engineering tools, a number of new options are now also available, for example the linear configurator for the simple compilation of demand-oriented linear systems. During configuration, all changes and extensions are immediately mapped visually.

More performance at no cost: Medias Plus

Medias Plus is also available free of charge after a simple registration. Users can, for example, save favourites on a notepad and use them to send direct enquiries to Schaeffler sales partners. Furthermore, linear configurations can also be saved and thus called up again at any time. In addition, users will soon have access to white papers and training videos on products.

For Schaeffler sales partners and direct customers: Medias Business

Medias Business is aimed at Schaeffler customers who are already connected. It offers unlimited access to all consulting tools and product information and includes even more product variants. In addition to the simple, direct ordering option, Medias Business offers support for commercial processes with numerous extras such as information on graduated prices, real-time availability or order stock overview.

Step by step, the content on Medias is being expanded. Medias is thus increasingly becoming a central knowledge platform.
