The Harting Technology Group is an exhibitor at the Hannover Messe 2022 and provides a first insight into the products and solutions presented during the digital preview.
"Digitization and sustainability are not only the big keywords of this year's trade fair, but are also two of the guidelines for our thoughts and actions," said Christopher Ukatz, Managing Director of Harting Deutschland GmbH, during the presentation as part of the digital Hannover Messe Preview. The technology group summarizes this concept under the generic term "Connectivity+". It is about considering social megatrends: sustainability, (de-)globalization and demographic change, as well as deriving technological trends: modularization, autonomy and digital twins. Products, solutions, services and applications can be found under the umbrella term Connectivity+ that contribute to the technological and social megatrends and thus provide answers to the challenges of the future. The focus on added value for the customer makes it clear that this is not a theoretical construct.
"An immensely important concern in the development of Connectivity+ is the collaboration and co-creation with customers and partners," says Ukatz. Therefore, there will be a Communication and Innovation Center at this year's Harting booth. The focus here is on joint brainstorming sessions and an exchange on the connectivity of the future. Stand visitors can make an appointment here in advance. Ukatz adds: “This is where the discussion about different technological approaches takes place. Customers can take the storyboard created by an industrial designer with them right away. Our innovators look forward to seeing you!”
Harting is also bringing a range of products and solutions to Hanover. Above all, a world first that will open up completely new perspectives in the field of modularization.
Topics that are more topical than ever can be found at the HARTING stand under the heading "All for Energy": Energy efficiency and decarbonization contribute to both Connectivity+ and this year's Hannover Messe. Control cabinet applications including the Han® Eco and its targeted use as an interface in data centers as well as transformer or converter applications are the driving forces in this area.
Another exhibit area is dedicated to the topic of e-mobility and shows the complete range of charging infrastructure: from the charging station for home use to the fast charging station. Also worth a look: the HARTING product portfolio, which is used in a charging station. From printed circuit board connectors to current sensors and network components, HARTING supplies solutions that reduce installation times, support the modular concept structure and increase security.
In the exhibition area of the small connectors for the topics All for Ethernet, All for PCB and 3D MID, the focus is of course on Single Pair Ethernet, also a Connectivity+ solution that is both resource-saving and highly efficient: From the sensor to the cloud with just two veins. SPE creates a seamless data infrastructure and shows previously hidden optimization potential in factory automation.
The PushPull locking systems shown and the associated application examples also clearly show the added value of modern quick locking systems.
Christopher Ukatz ends his presentation with an invitation to this year's trade press conference of the HARTING Technology Group. On April 26th, the Espelkamper experts will provide information about the latest products and corresponding applications in a half-day, hybrid workshop. Representatives of the trade press can secure one of the much sought-after places by sending an email to presseteam@HARTING.com.
