Data processing
Digital transformation in no time
The Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) thrives on comprehensive sensor and process data from the field level. Pepperl+Fuchs, together with Bosch Digital Twins Industries and Syntax, will demonstrate how easily aggregated data can be transferred to established cloud platforms such as AWS or MS Azure.
The Pepperl+Fuchs Digital Twin Starter Kit on display simulates a real-world application. The kit consists of high-performance sensors, an IO-Link master, and a fanless embedded PC, as well as all other components that require seamless hardware integration.
The IO-Link master serves as an interface between the sensors and the embedded PC for preprocessing and aggregating the data from the field level, which is then transferred to the Bosch Digital Twin platform, the so-called Intelligence Core. Using a simulation model, the integrated IAPM (Intelligent Asset Performance Management) solution performs real-time data analysis.
The use of ML algorithms and AI enables, for example, This includes predicting potential failures, optimizing maintenance schedules, and providing recommendations for action. Preventive intervention ensures trouble-free operation of the production facility. The starter kit configures itself after connecting to the internet and powering up. The open platform and open communication standards used guarantee maximum flexibility and individual scalability.
