Automatically detect accumulations of liquids as a result of leaks, backflow or flooding and sound the alarm if necessary: ​​The new AFA 11 liquid detector from Afriso meets these requirements in numerous application areas.

The AFA 11 liquid detector is suitable for detecting a wide range of liquids with a flash point >55 °C. These include heating oil, diesel fuel and thin lubricating oils, engine, gear or hydraulic oils, vegetable and transformer oils, water and more. For these media, the device can be used as a class III leak detection system according to EN 13160-1/-4 and as a safety device according to the DWA-A 791 and DWA-A 779 worksheets.

Optical and acoustic messages

The AFA 11 liquid detector consists of a signal section with a test/acknowledge button, a relay output and the optoelectronic probe, which is mounted at the lowest point in the area to be monitored. This means that leaked liquid can be detected early, for example in storage rooms, dome shafts, collection rooms or the burner room. If the worst comes to the worst, the warning device emits a visual and acoustic signal. The potential-free relay contact makes it possible to connect additional external signaling devices such as horns or warning lights or the building management system. In addition, it is optionally possible to connect a 9 V battery so that an alarm sound is triggered in the event of a power failure.

EnOcean-ready for smart home systems

AFA 11 is also EnOcean-ready and can optionally be integrated into the Afriso Smart Home or other smart home systems based on EnOcean® radio using the TCM 320 radio module. This enables additional alarms to be sent using push notifications on the smartphone.
