With a sine/cosine signal, a resolution of 2048p (incremental), and designed for demanding applications, the 58 mm diameter AFS58 absolute encoder is ideally suited for industrial environments. Standardized M12 connectors and a 5-volt power supply facilitate integration into existing systems.

High safety and easy integration

The AFS58 expands the Dunkermotoren portfolio with a functionally safe sine/cosine encoder certified up to SIL2 and Performance Level d. The combination of high measurement accuracy, a defined interface, and a compact design supports safety-critical applications wherever the position, speed, or direction of movement of an axis needs to be reliably measured.
