More mobile freedom

More mobile freedom

RK Rose+Krieger has significantly expanded the user base of its MultiControl II accu control unit. The new generation MultiControl II duo accu can be operated with different battery models. This is made possible by a specially designed adapter for additional commercially available battery packs. This means that more users can benefit from the advantages of the control unit for mobile adjustment tasks.

The previous generation MultiControl II accu from RK Rose+Krieger was previously designed for 28-volt batteries from Würth, but the control unit can now also be equipped with 18-volt batteries from Bosch and Makita. This enables the control and drives to be fully integrated into existing charging infrastructures.

Make two out of one: get the required voltage with the adapter

The full-service provider for linear, profile and connection technology developed a special adapter for this purpose. Two 18-volt batteries can be plugged into this to achieve the required 28 volts to operate the Multilift II lifting column from RK Rose+Krieger. The electronics in the adapter reduce the resulting overvoltage from 36 volts to 28 volts.

The Multilift II lifting column from RK Rose+Krieger is an important component of the company's ergonomic workplace solutions. They serve numerous mobile requirements in intralogistics or production. These include, for example, transport trolleys or assembly tables such as the recently introduced RK Easymount. The systems achieve the decisive advantage in terms of their location independence with the help of the battery-operated control unit. This is an in-house development by RK Rose+Krieger, which the company successfully placed on the market for the first time in 2022.

Can be specifically adapted to each workplace

With its optional adapter extension, the new generation MultiControl II duo accu gives its users more flexibility when using the control unit as a location-independent solution. All the proven advantages of the previous generation are available to them. These units can also be combined to form larger systems with up to eight controllers and thus 16 drives, which means that more complex performance requirements can also be met. A 1.5 meter long cable connects the adapter to the control system. As a simple plug & play solution, it can be individually installed in an optimal position for the respective area of application. The charge level can be easily viewed using the six-button handset with graphic display.

MultiControl II duo accu is also available in Basic and Premium versions. They differ in the scope of the software functions available as standard. Even the Basic version offers control over stroke limits and memory positions, for example. With the Premium version, absolute and relative positioning is also possible. The Smart Product Protection (SPP) collision detection is also integrated here. In addition, customer-specific programming is also possible as a Premium Customized Service.

Individual developments as a service

RK Rose+Krieger is a system provider that develops application-specific solutions based on its modular system with more than 50,000 individual components. Individual advice is an integral part of its offer. The company also supports its customers in selecting the right control system. If the up to 150 double strokes that the MultiControl II duo accu can perform with one battery charge are not enough, a different control concept can be created individually according to the required number of strokes and load. In addition, the company is able to develop customer-specific adapters for the existing batteries and also produce them economically in small series.
