One click to the desired product

Expert-Tünkers has recently started offering its customers the opportunity to configure a suitable product from the field of automation technology in just a few steps and to download the associated design data in STEP format.

"With our 3D configurator, companies now have the option of displaying 3D product views in the preview and detail window. Since the product can be inspected in full in advance - down to the smallest screw - our customers' decision-making processes are shortened. In addition, the downloaded 3D data can be read into their own programs in order to use it for product design and initial calculations," reports Christian Heyer, Managing Director of Expert-Tünkers GmbH.

After selecting the product, customers can choose between series and then between flexible and fixed pitch rotary or drum tables. In the next step, users enter the desired product specifications: size, gearbox manufacturer and type, motor manufacturer and type, as well as installation position, adapter, pitch or operating mode. The configurator then displays the suitable products with images. "The views can be rotated so that they can be viewed from all perspectives. Overall, our configurator offers the possibility of configuring the right desired product from 479 possible product variants," says Heyer. The new tool on the company website applies to turntables and drum drives.
