Locking bolts
Optimal protection thanks to hidden mechanics
Kipp has developed its new locking bolt with internal guide specifically for applications in demanding environments. The focus was on resistance to dust, dirt and flying sparks as well as reliable and stable locking. The innovative control element combines safety, functionality and aesthetic design and offers a wide range of possible uses.
Perfect appearance meets inner values: The special feature of the new locking bolt from KIPP lies in its internal guide. The locking notch is located inside the sleeve, which in turn is enclosed by a solid handle. Thanks to the closed design, the critical parts of the mechanism are protected from external influences. This ensures reliable locking even under demanding environmental conditions, prevents malfunctions and significantly increases the service life of the product.
Elegant design with a high degree of customization
In addition to its robust functionality, the locking bolt impresses with its modern and minimalist design. The closed contour of the bolt prevents moving parts or mechanical components from being visible from the outside. Thanks to the hidden mechanism, the locking bolt fits seamlessly into a wide variety of design concepts. The large selection of shapes, materials and colors in which the handle of the latch is available also contributes to the high degree of individualization.
Wide range of applications in various industries
The locking latch with internal guide is versatile. Whether in mechanical engineering, logistics and storage technology, in the construction industry or in manufacturing and fixture construction - wherever a reliable and stable locking mechanism is required, the innovative operating element offers an optimal solution. It is particularly suitable for door and flap locking, for example in vehicles, machine housings, control cabinets or storage boxes, the positioning of machine parts and for the fixing of transport and storage technology.
The new locking latch from KIPP is available in steel (K1677) or stainless steel (K1678) in the fine thread sizes M10x1, M12x1.5, M16x1.5 and M20x1.5. The diameter of the locking pin can be selected between 5, 6, 8 and 10 mm depending on the requirements. In addition, KIPP offers the control element with or without a locking cap, with the cap available in seven colors.
