After a successful financial year
CTX Thermal Solutions can look back on another exceptional financial year. This is how Managing Director Jens Mirau summarizes the development of the past twelve months. Even against the backdrop of a tense and uncertain global economic situation, the specialist for tailor-made cooling solutions once again managed to achieve sales of well over 40 million euros.
"The market and the global economy are undergoing major changes," says Jens Mirau. "We have to face up to this in order to continue to be successful and realize our growth." The CTX Managing Director considers the most important challenges to be a shortage of skilled workers, digitization, cost optimization and securing the supply chain. The manufacturer of cooling solutions for electronics wants to invest more in these, which it has already achieved in 2023 and wants to expand further in 2024.
Participation in PADA ensures a stable supply chain
One of the most important measures in the anniversary year 2023 was CTX's participation in the Italian manufacturer of cooling solutions PADA. "The fact that we are taking a stake in our long-standing partner is an important strategic step for us," says Jens Mirau. "This enables us to stabilize our supply chain outside of China and guarantee our customers consistent delivery capability and quality. In addition, the company is also focusing on further expanding its network with new suppliers in order to meet the new requirements of the market, customers and the uncertain global political situation.
In 2023, CTX was also able to further expand its workforce in the areas of logistics and sales. The new office building at the company headquarters in Nettetal is expected to meet the growing need for jobs in 2024. Construction work is nearing completion, so that the new premises can be occupied in summer 2024.
Growth should be sustainable, procurement should be local
Managing Director Jens Mirau says the focus for the new 2024 financial year is on developing new markets and industries in Europe. The company is consistently orienting its expansion towards its own standards. "Topics such as sustainability and local procurement are important guidelines for us, which we always base our growth strategy on," says Jens Mirau. The business development to date proves him and the company right.
