Pneumatics specialist Airtec is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. For half a century, the experienced manufacturer has been supplying a wide variety of industries with reliable pneumatic control technology, delivering genuine added value for customers and users with its comprehensive solution expertise.

Its customer spectrum ranges from the manufacturing industry to general mechanical and plant engineering, medical technology, the food industry, automotive and commercial vehicle manufacturing, and even ship and marine technology. "Throughout our company's history, we have grown continuously and successfully mastered major challenges. We owe this primarily to our motivated and highly qualified employees, who are committed to the company's continued development," explains Airtec co-founder and managing partner Dirk C. Dammann.

The medium-sized family business is headquartered in Kronberg am Taunus and employs approximately 220 people at two locations. Airtec has had its Technology and Development Center in Reutlingen since 2005. The product portfolio ranges from high-quality valve and cylinder series to high-performance valve terminals with common fieldbus systems and vacuum technology components, as well as an extensive range of accessories.

The standard components are proven and sophisticated products that incorporate the manufacturer's decades of pneumatic expertise. The core of the portfolio is the "Solutions in Motion," which Airtec produces for a wide range of applications using modern technologies, a high level of vertical integration, and material and manufacturing quality. These complex, innovative, customized solutions are designed by a competent development team of engineers and pneumatics specialists and brought to market by a sales department with extensive consulting expertise and many years of experience in automation technology.

The company, which remains family-run, is committed to healthy growth in the future and remains committed to Germany as a business and production location. Since 2014, Airtec has maintained a strategic partnership with the Chinese pneumatics specialist JELPC with the aim of further rounding off its own product portfolio and opening up new sales markets in Asia.
