Eighth expert brand
The Stabilus Group, a global provider of motion control solutions for numerous industrial applications, is taking another step in its collaboration with Cultraro to strengthen customer proximity and create additional added value through synergies.
Following a successful partnership and a gradual increase in shareholding, which reached an important milestone in 2023 with Stabilus acquiring a 60 percent stake, Cultraro will now become the eighth expert brand to join the Stabilus brand family. All brands will bear the suffix "A Stabilus Company" and follow a uniform corporate design framework within the group. In the future, Cultraro will be more closely integrated into the group's global presence – including through international trade fairs and websites – and will enrich the product portfolio of the Stabilus sales team.
Cultraro, headquartered in Rivoli near Turin, Italy, is a global company active in the development and production of damping technologies. With over 400 employees, state-of-the-art development, production, and testing facilities in Italy and India, and a strong presence in Europe, North America, and Asia, Cultraro significantly expands Stabilus' technology portfolio. Furthermore, Cultraro is a highly qualified mold maker—a significant advantage for the Stabilus Group, as it reduces development times and costs in-house.
The collaboration not only strengthens Stabilus' technological expertise but also creates new added value for customers worldwide. The combination of Cultraro's in-depth damping expertise and Stabilus' global market presence and many years of experience enables the development of innovative solutions for highly specialized applications. The vertical integration of the supply chain and closer coordination with other expert brands in the group—such as the damping specialist ACE—opens up new opportunities for product innovations and market developments.
As part of the ongoing integration, Cultraro will be gradually aligned with the Stabilus Group's uniform corporate design. The goal is to create a visually consistent brand family while preserving the individual identity of each brand.
