For more growth: site further expanded

Stöber is accelerating its international focus and further expanding its Swiss subsidiary. As part of the reorganization, Danijel Sesar, an experienced industry expert, is taking over as Managing Director. He aims to establish the drive specialist as a strategic partner in the Swiss mechanical engineering sector.

With the goal of strategically aligning itself more closely with global economic areas – including Europe – Stöber has decided to expand its Swiss subsidiary and thus foster further growth. Danijel Sesar has been the new Managing Director of Stöber Schweiz AG since August 1. The 46-year-old mechanical engineer has extensive experience in industrial manufacturing, including automation, mechanical and plant engineering, aviation, and refrigeration technology. He also brings in-depth knowledge of international sales and marketing and has held many years of management positions, including Chief Operating Officer (COO), department manager, and project manager.

Before joining Stöber, Danijel Sesar worked for an international converter manufacturer for four years. Previously, he worked for around ten years at a company that develops and produces machines for the production of electric motors.

"Stöber is currently not well known in the Swiss market," says Danijel Sesar. "We want to change that by reorganizing the site. In my new role, I want to contribute to Stöber being perceived as a strategic partner in drive technology."

He sees the proximity to the production site in Germany and the long-standing experience of its employees as particular strengths. Sesar emphasizes: "Switzerland stands for precision and quality. With our system solutions comprising servo drives, gears, motors, and – if required – racks, we can optimally meet the high quality requirements of successful mechanical engineering companies. This strong engineering country offers great potential that we have not yet fully exploited."

Although the current challenges for Swiss mechanical engineering are significant, Sesar sees good long-term growth prospects – particularly in the areas of packaging technology and automation. In view of the planned expansion, Stöber plans to strengthen its sales team in the short term.
