In the year of its 75th anniversary, Faulhaber is also pushing ahead with improving customer service. Dr. Fritz Faulhaber GmbH is integrating its subsidiary PDT Präzisionsdrehteile GmbH from Nürtingen on April 1, 2022, and thus also welcoming 34 new skilled employees to the Schönaich site. Thanks to this strategically planned step, Faulhaber will be able to respond more quickly to individual customer requests with its own turning center and expand its expertise in the area of machining production.
PDT had been a subsidiary of Faulhaber since 2014 and had been producing turned parts for the drive systems of the renowned specialist for miniature and micro drive technology since that time. "The integration is part of our growth strategy to further expand our own delivery capability and increase the added value for our customers," explains Managing Director Karl Faulhaber. "We now have our own high-performance turning center in-house. This allows us to realize customer-specific adaptations more diversely and more quickly, shorten delivery times for our customers and optimally complement the synchronization of our production sites."
The relocation of the CNC machinery to Schönaich has already been realized. The new skilled workers are happy to now be part of the renowned company and are working in three shifts at the new location. "We are delighted with our new colleagues and wish them a good start in Schönaich," says Faulhaber. "This means that we are specifically expanding our expertise in this area as well, and our customers will also benefit from this - with an even broader range of individual complete drive solutions."
