Implementation of advanced automation projects

Comau and Reis Robotics have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at jointly developing and deploying advanced automation products and solutions for various industries, based on a coordinated technical and commercial approach.

The agreement, signed today by Comau and Reis Robotics, an Italian and a German company respectively, underscores the strength of the European technology landscape in advanced industrial development. The initiative combines the complementary expertise and experience of both companies to develop and deploy integrated, complex systems that improve efficiency, flexibility, and scalability. The initial focus includes sectors such as shipbuilding, intralogistics, gigacasting, battery production, heavy industry, and critical infrastructure.

The collaboration combines Reis Robotics' proprietary control technology and multi-process automation with Comau's global industrial presence and its portfolio of advanced automation solutions and robotics. Another component of the agreement is the joint identification and development of additional market segments and technical applications where the combined expertise of both companies can create added value.
