Innovation platform expanded
SMC Germany is expanding its innovation platform. The company is opening its new Industrial Application Center (IAC) in the "Silicon Saxony" technology cluster. Spanning over 180 square meters, the IAC offers companies the opportunity to experience state-of-the-art automation technologies – from pneumatics and vacuum technology to Industry 4.0 applications.
The IAC provides a practical environment for analyzing and optimizing real-world production processes. The goal is to develop customized solutions for current and future automation requirements in collaboration with customers.
With this new location in Dresden, SMC complements its existing application center at its headquarters in Egelsbach and is providing a significant boost to the industrial automation of the future.
