New headquarters opened

Menzel Elektromotoren celebrated the opening of its new headquarters in Hennigsdorf near Berlin with a large inauguration party. In honor of the company's founder Kurt Menzel, the date was set for his 120th birthday on May 14, 2024.

The traditional Berlin company successfully sells its industrial motors and customized drive systems internationally. This now required larger areas and modern production facilities that enable efficient processes and are also designed to meet the demand for larger and heavier machines.

Company boss Mathis Menzel, who is the third generation to run the family business, had his employees vote on two possible locations in the Berlin catchment area with good logistical connections. The choice clearly fell on Hennigsdorf. In addition to modern machine equipment, spacious storage areas, efficient painting systems and test fields that can test even the largest drive packages, the new factory building offers the opportunity for strong further growth. The workforce at this location can be expanded from around 100 to 150 in the next few years – this means the manufacturer is prepared for all customer requests.
