Partnership with 1. FC Heidenheim is expanded
RUD is deepening its partnership with 1. FC Heidenheim. After a successful debut season, the Aalen-based global market leader for lifting and lashing technology is expanding its financial commitment as a Gold sponsor and will therefore also support the Bundesliga football club in the 2024/25 season.
By continuing its sports sponsorship, the globally active family business is committed to promoting its home region. "Even though we have long been internationally positioned and represented on all continents, we remain rooted in the Ostalb and therefore want to make a contribution to the region," emphasizes RUD Marketing Manager Jürgen Grubmüller. "It is therefore only logical for RUD to support the region's sporting flagship in the new season - after all, this also promotes the attractiveness of a recognized high-tech industrial region full of hidden champions."
RUD feels connected to the UEFA Conference League Play-Offs participant not only because of their shared regional roots, as Grubmüller emphasizes. In fact, the parallels are also obvious in other areas. "Both partners stand for patient, consistent and competent growth in their respective fields; they stand for the targeted promotion of talent while at the same time highly valuing experience; and, last but not least, they stand for a high degree of financial solidity."
In addition, the RUD marketing manager is convinced that there is a fundamental commonality: "As an internationally active family business, we know only too well that there is no substitute for strong solidarity across all borders - and almost nothing brings people of all ages, genders and backgrounds together more than football. The recent European Championships have shown this once again impressively."
Sponsorship a complete success for both sides
The fact that there is also fun is the icing on the cake of the sponsorship partnership for RUD. For customers, suppliers and technology partners of the company from the Aalen Peace Island, it was always a highlight last season to be invited to the Sparkassen Business Club in the Heidenheim Voith Arena for home games and to maintain contacts away from sterile meeting rooms. And of course, the company's own workforce was not forgotten either: tickets for several home games were raffled off among football-loving RUD employees last season - visiting the stadium with the team was then a given. With a view to the coming season, the offers for partners and employees will be further expanded as part of the sponsorship.
After the first joint Bundesliga season with a large number of matches, promotional campaigns and sponsor events, an unreservedly positive interim conclusion has been drawn not only at RUD, but also at the first division club on the Brenz. "We are very proud to have RUD Ketten Rieger & Dietz GmbH u. Co. KG as a partner at our side. The first year of our collaboration went excellently and perfectly reflected our shared values and goals. It is a strong sign that we will continue this partnership in the 2024/25 season.
