Reinforcement for the team in the USA

August Steinmeyer is further expanding its team in the USA, thus meeting the growth trend there. Two employees from Germany will now actively support the branch in Brighton, Michigan. This branch represents all three production sites of the Steinmeyer Group in Albstadt, Dresden, and Suhl in the US market, in Mexico, and in Canada.

The ball screw specialists at August Steinmeyer in Albstadt are sending two long-standing German employees to Michigan: Sebastian Schwarz, who has worked in sales for the group for more than 12 years, and Martina Nagel, who joined the company in 2018, in Business Development. "By transferring two experienced colleagues to the USA, we are pursuing a new approach and sending a clear signal of our commitment to the American market," explains Jens-Uwe Gühring, Sales Manager at August Steinmeyer in Germany and President of Steinmeyer Inc. "We are particularly pleased that by strengthening our local team, we can exploit new potential, further increase our brand awareness, and further drive new customer acquisition. This is an important step for August Steinmeyer, and we are highly motivated to be part of the ever-growing US market and meet its demands through our innovations and services."

August Steinmeyer's approximately 460 employees support customers worldwide with high-quality products and technical expertise – in various industries, from machine tool construction to the semiconductor industry and medical technology to aerospace. The manufacturer's range of services includes the development and production of high-precision ball screws, from miniature to heavy-duty designs. "We work very closely with our customers from the very beginning to understand how we can best meet their needs and exceed their expectations," explains Jens-Uwe Gühring. "Our engineers and production teams are always there to support them as competent partners and are open to ongoing dialogue – this is how we create optimal solutions tailored to customer requirements."
