Vietnam has recorded impressive economic growth in recent years. This boom and its location in Southeast Asia make the country an attractive destination for investment. With its new representative office in Vietnam, Schmalz offers its customers in the region short routes to the right automation.

Vacuum expert Schmalz will establish its 31st location worldwide in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. “Vietnam is one of the most rapidly expanding economies in Asia. Numerous companies are setting up new factories there to expand their activities and networks in Asia,” says Dr. Kurt Schmalz, managing partner of Schmalz. “The country offers access to a broad customer base in the Southeast Asia region. With the new location we can support our customers directly on site with our automation solutions.”

With the new representative office, Schmalz will sell its entire Schmalz product portfolio, both vacuum technology for automation and handling in Southeast Asia. “For Schmalz, the entire region has great strategic importance for the future. We are therefore pleased to now be able to take this fact into account by establishing our own location,” emphasizes Dr. Kurt Schmalz.
