Rodriguez expands linear technology

By investing in new production capacities and state-of-the-art technology, Rodriguez is further expanding its linear technology services – and will offer customers even more scope for precise, economical, and customized solutions in the future. At the heart of the expanded production site in Eschweiler is a new Mazak HQR-100MSY CNC turning center in combination with the Kasto Unitower 3.0 long goods storage system.

Also new this year is a straightening machine from MAE, which ensures even more precise machining of cylindrical metal parts. The machine park now comprises a total of seven CNC turning centers, four CNC milling centers, modern polishing machines, and a soft annealing plant. In addition, there is a Hedelius C80 Magnum 3-axis machining center, which ensures maximum efficiency through partial automation in shuttle operation.

Rodriguez began in-house production in the early 1990s, initially machining hardened and ground round guides. Today, round guides with an outer diameter of up to 100 mm can be manufactured with precision. Linear housings, end bearings, and shaft supports are now also part of the portfolio.

More capacity for customized customer solutions

Rodriguez recently built a new production hall to cope with the growing share of in-house production and optimize processes. In addition to eliminating space shortages, the focus is also on ensuring efficient production processes and further development toward automation and digitalization.

Products and system solutions with added value

Rodriguez offers a wide range of products and solutions, from round and profile rail guides to ball, roller, and trapezoidal screw drives, ball rollers, and electric lift cylinders. In addition to individual components, the company also develops complete linear systems, including customized linear axes and modular multi-axis systems. This results in customized solutions that reliably automate handling, feeding, and positioning tasks, from welding frames for the printing industry to laser marking systems.

Rodriguez linear technology has proven itself in a wide variety of industrial applications. With its current investments, the company is ensuring that it will continue to be able to respond flexibly to customer-specific requirements in the future while significantly increasing the quality and productivity of its customers.
