Rosa Meckseper is the new Managing Director of B&R Germany

B&R has appointed Rosa Meckseper as the new Managing Director of the German subsidiary. She will succeed Markus Sandhöfner with effect from 13 January 2025. In her new role, Meckseper will further strengthen B&R's leading market position in machine and plant engineering through the use of innovative automation solutions in Germany.

The new Managing Director is focussing on the customer and increasing manufacturing productivity in machine and plant engineering. B&R makes this possible through mechatronic systems, among other things. A key advantage of using these systems is that products can be moved flexibly and independently of each other and further processed in groups at processing stations. The manufacturing process can thus be realised up to 50% faster. ‘We will continue to expand our offerings through innovations in our core business. At the same time, it is important that our solutions are always orientated towards the needs of our customers and markets in order to serve them in the best possible way. Due to her professional experience, including in the management of strategy projects, Rosa Meckseper is predestined for this position and always focuses on our customers and the required solutions,’ emphasises Sebastian Sachse, responsible at B&R for the Central Europe region.

‘I am delighted to be part of a strong B&R team that is shaping the future of automation in Germany. In Germany, we currently find ourselves in a demanding market environment that is characterised by challenges such as the current shortage of skilled workers. Companies can only secure their competitiveness here with flexible and efficient automation solutions. At B&R, we develop the right approaches together with our customers,’ says Rosa Meckseper.

Rosa Meckseper joins B&R from Continental AG, where she most recently headed the Smart Mobility division in North America. During her ten years in the automotive supplier industry, she gained extensive experience in various management roles in the implementation of holistic growth and transformation strategies at group level, as well as in innovative product areas. She also has ten years of experience in management consulting, where she focused on sales and organisational tasks. Meckseper holds a degree in engineering from the Technical University of Berlin.
