Serve customers in America even better
Rollon is expanding its operations to better serve customers in the Americas by opening a new manufacturing facility in Norton Shores, Michigan and new offices in New Jersey, USA, giving customers even easier and faster access to the company's products.
"Rollon is proud to announce that we are expanding our manufacturing capabilities to expand the service we provide to our customers," said Rüdiger Knevels, CEO of Rollon. "We will be better positioned than ever to supply customers in North and South America with linear guides, linear axes, systems and gantries."
Combined production, new opportunities
The customized manufacturing facility in Michigan covers an area of 14,000 m². This location will serve as the production center for the linear components, linear axes, robotic transfer units (RTUs) and multi-axis systems and gantries product lines in the USA.
The company is using the move to introduce digital systems and smart manufacturing processes that can adapt in real time to the changing needs and conditions of customers and the entire supply chain.
The New Jersey office will house Rollon's engineering, marketing, customer service, human resources, product management and purchasing teams in one central location.
"We serve a variety of industries, including manufacturing, packaging, aerospace, factory automation, logistics, material handling and healthcare. This transition will allow us to work even more closely with our customers to meet the growing demand for Rollon linear motion products," said Knevels.
Founded in 1975, Rollon has been designing and manufacturing linear motion systems for more than 45 years. Since 2018, Rollon has been part of the Industrial Motion business unit of Timken Company.
Rollon's expansion in the U.S. demonstrates Timken's commitment to the automation industry with a differentiated product range that serves today's dynamic market.
