New building
The Gateway to Southeast Asia
With the opening of a new location in Ho Chi Minh City, Schmalz is strengthening its presence in Southeast Asia. The modern office in District 7 serves as a hub for innovative technologies and excellent customer service and underlines Vietnam's importance as a strategic starting point for the region.
At the ceremonial opening, accompanied by representatives from business and industry, the German Consul General Dr. Josefine Wallat highlighted the close economic ties between Germany and Vietnam. After an inspiring speech and the symbolic ribbon cutting, the new location was officially inaugurated.
"Vietnam offers us an ideal combination of growth potential, dynamic economy and a key position in the region. With our new location, we are not only creating an even closer connection to our customers and partners, but are also laying the foundation for making a positive contribution to the development of Southeast Asia in the long term," explains Dr. Kurt Schmalz, Managing Partner of Schmalz.
The office, which has an area of 200 square meters, also houses an exhibition where visitors can experience Schmalz technologies. During the opening, the company presented products such as the JumboFlex handling system, vacuum automation solutions for the electronics and packaging industries, and area grippers and components for industries such as glass, automotive and logistics.
The opening event offered numerous opportunities for networking. Visitors experienced Schmalz technologies in action and exchanged ideas with partners and customers in a relaxed atmosphere during a tea break.
"With this location, we are sending a clear signal: Vietnam is the gateway to Southeast Asia - a region with enormous potential," said Dr. Kurt Schmalz.
