Analogous to the multi-axis systems, Bosch Rexroth now also offers individual linear axes as well as actuators in combination with an automation package on request, optionally with operating software. The selected packages can be ordered directly via the Bosch Rexroth online shop and delivered at short notice thanks to stocked components. Users thus shorten their time-to-market. Rexroth Service provides support during commissioning and ensures long life cycles with accompanying services.

Simple engineering, fast commissioning, long life cycles - Bosch Rexroth meets these central market requirements of factory automation with the new automation packages for its linear axes and electromechanical cylinders. Users from a wide range of industries thus receive a perfectly coordinated solution from a single source for implementing linear movements efficiently and with a long service life. Typical automation tasks are handling, pressing or dosing tasks.

The automation packages supplement the durable mechanics with a servo motor, drive controller, mains filter and the cabling. The cables are available in three lengths. For the drive controllers, users can choose between IndraDrive or ctrlX DRIVE. The drive parameters are stored in the motor encoder data memory ex works and are read out automatically for faster commissioning. The mains filter supports signal processing to the periphery and ensures interference-free operation of the single axis.

On request, the automation packages include the proven operating software of the Smart Function Kits Handling, Pressing or Dispensing. The scope of delivery of the pre-installed software includes a commissioning wizard with automatic parameterisation of the drive controller as well as a module for convenient visual programming of the motion sequences with the aid of function blocks.

The automation package is selected directly in the LinSelect design software for the linear axes and actuators, the commissioning software in the seamlessly connected online configurator. The documentation and CAD data are also made available for download here. The selected subsystem can then be ordered via the online shop. Each bundle is given a specific material variant via which it can be clearly identified.

Since Bosch Rexroth keeps all components in stock, the subsystems can be delivered at short notice. This helps customers to shorten their time-to-market.
