Advanced network protection with network segmentation and advanced DPI technology
Within a site, the EDR-G9010 Series secure industrial routers can help create a security boundary by segmenting OT and IT networks. They are equipped with
advanced DPI technology, which allows users to granularly monitor traffic on the network by filtering industrial protocols* according to the requirements of each application. Moxa will continue to expand the scope of the DPI protocol. Starting with Modbus TCP/UDP and DNP3, Moxa will add more protocols specific to the energy market in 2022.

When remote connections are needed across multiple sites, the IPsec VPN built into the EDRG9010 series provides secure communication channels on the industrial network when accessing the private network from the public Internet.

Future-proof platform for intrusion prevention in OT networks
Due to its superior computing power, the EDR-G9010 platform can run an intrusion prevention module that securely blocks ransomware, malware, viruses and other cyber security threats in OT networks. This signature-based scanning technology will take traffic filtering and resource visibility in OT networks to unprecedented levels. The module is licensed on demand and will be available from mid-2022.

Better performance with higher bandwidth and shorter boot times
