With its ARCA IEC series made of fiber-reinforced polycarbonate, Fibox offers an economical alternative to conventional sheet steel control cabinets for sizes up to 800 mm high.

The highly robust wall-mounted control cabinets, available in 17 housing sizes, have an extremely impact-resistant, weather- and UV-resistant housing construction. Another advantage is the electrical safety of the ARCA IEC series, which - unlike sheet steel cabinets - does not require any earthing and is designed to be touch-safe for a nominal current of 630 A and a nominal insulation voltage of 1,500 VDC.

The plastic housings are also ideal for housing digital IT and communications technology. The signal-permeable housing material supports radio-based IoT applications, so that radio modems, antennas and other WLAN modules can be protected without special housing processing. The installation space can optionally be secured with an additional inner door. The series can be used almost universally, even in very demanding industrial and environmental conditions, both indoors and outdoors. The housing material not only facilitates transport and handling, but also facilitates housing processing, as application-specific feedthroughs and breakouts can be made quickly and easily without the need for special tools.
