Switches and buttons from own production
Rose Systemtechnik will produce some of the pushbuttons and switches for its enclosure range in-house in the future. The dimensions of the in-house manufactured components are significantly more compact than those currently available on the market. This saves machine, device, and system manufacturers considerable installation space – the smaller enclosures also blend seamlessly into the application.
The pushbuttons and switches manufactured in-house include selector switches, pushbuttons, indicator lights, and emergency stop switches. All versions are ATEX or IECEx compliant (Zones 1 and 2, Zones 21 and 22), and most are also available in lockable versions. The pushbuttons and switches meet the requirements of protection class IP66 (IEC 60529) and can be used in temperature ranges between -60°C and +70°C. They are available in the classic colors red, yellow, green, blue, and amber, as well as white and black.
Rose will also produce the modules for controlling and illuminating the pushbuttons and switches itself in the future. "We were able to reduce the width of the modules by two-thirds compared to competitor products," says Sven Schönfeld, Projects Energy & Ex at Rose Systemtechnik. This means that Rose's contact and LED modules are just 10 mm thick and require very little installation space.
Rose pushbutton and switch solutions are suitable for both mounting on DIN rails and for installation in the housing cover. They can be seamlessly integrated into all of the company's housing systems – regardless of whether they are made of aluminum, plastic, or stainless steel.
