Small element with a big impact: The aluminum perforated bridges (bridge type LG) from Tsubaki Kabelschlepp improve the service life of the energy chain and thus the sustainability of the overall system. Other advantages: optimal cable routing, even for heavy cables and hoses, in the neutral bending line, highly flexible 1 mm width grid and easy installation and maintenance.

"The less strain is placed on cables and hoses within an energy chain, the longer they last," says Werner Eul, Head of Industry & Product Management at Tsubaki Kabelschlepp. "Our aluminum perforated bridges are the proverbial velvet glove in this context. The use of high-quality aluminum means that the cables are guided particularly gently. This reduces maintenance effort, minimizes failures and makes an important contribution to sustainability through the longer service life of the components."

The aluminum perforated bridges are manufactured to customer specifications and individually and take into account the number, diameter and position of all cables in the cross-section. The result is perfect cable routing in the neutral bending zone. The use of these tailor-made dividers has the advantage that the relative movements between cables and the divider are minimized - optimal guidance is thus guaranteed at all times.

"Depending on the application, we offer our customers the perforated dividers in both split and one-piece versions," explains Werner Eul. "This enables ideal guidance of even larger hoses, for example in hydraulic applications. Thanks to our 1 mm width grid up to 1,500 mm, we can also adapt the perforated dividers perfectly to the respective installation space."

The dividers can be easily removed from the outside and inside using screw connections. This makes the energy supply easy to access and allows the cables to be laid quickly and effortlessly, thus saving time and money. The arrangement of the dividers can be selected to suit the application - full-bridge (VS) on every chain link or half-bridge (HS) on every second chain link. In addition to the classic round design, other cross-sections can also be realized, for example for flat cables.

"With the aluminum perforated bridges, we offer an innovative solution that improves the service life and sustainability of our energy chain systems and can be flexibly adapted to customer needs," summarizes Werner Eul. "Thanks to their robust design, the bridges are also ideally suited for use in heavy-duty applications, for example in steelworks or other areas with harsh environments."
