Two different modes of operation
Airtec offers AN and OR series function valves for the logical linking of pressure signals in pneumatic or hydraulic circuits.
Made of stainless steel and brass in an anodized aluminium housing, the logic valves have two signal inputs and one output. Both device versions can be used in a temperature range from -10 °C to +70 °C. Valves with AND function, whose output opens when a signal is applied to both inputs simultaneously, are available from Airtec in two versions with M5 and G1/8 connections.
They can be subjected to a working pressure of -0.95 ... 10 bar and are dimensioned for flow rates of 160 or 280 Nl/min. OR valves for passing compressed air when a signal is applied to one of the two inputs are available from the manufacturer in three connection variants: M5, G1/8 and G1/4 for flow rates of 160, 280 and 900 Nl/min respectively. Once the input signals have been deleted, the logic valves are vented as passive assemblies via the upstream signal elements.
