Verisurf Software, provider of innovative measurement solutions for manufacturing companies, unveils the new version 2024 of its universal measurement software.

Verisurf 2024 has numerous new programming and productivity features designed to improve metrology workflows through automation while ensuring repeatable process control:

New global register: scan data for manual and automated inspection plans can be quickly aligned to the target reference. Registration between data sets has been improved, including cloud to cloud, cloud to mesh, mesh to mesh, or cloud and mesh to CAD.

New Enhanced RPS Alignment: In response to the alignment needs of the automotive and other industries, the new Automate RPS (Reference Point System) alignment simplifies the process by using points, features, constructs and surface points to fix the alignment to the CAD model.  The software offers advanced control of alignment, rotation, position, weight and target type.

New support for Renishaw Revo sensors: Verisurf is known for its comprehensive support of all Renishaw sensors. Verisurf 2024 has been enhanced to support two new REVO sensors: the RUP1 (Renishaw Ultrasonic Probe) measures the thickness of typical metal parts ranging from 1 mm to 20 mm with an accuracy of 0.010 mm. The SFP2 (Surface Finish Probe) evaluates the surface finish/roughness of a variety of surfaces, including holes as small as 5 mm (0.196").  Verisurf is capable of acquiring and reporting RA, RMS and raw data from the SFP2.

Verisurf software is compatible with all CAD file formats. The Verisurf Device Interface (VDI) communicates with and controls all programmable and portable CMMs to ensure universal compatibility. The software's modular design enables users to quickly move from reverse engineering to inspection to tool design, and efficiently capture and process measurement data for practical measurement applications with repeatable process control throughout the manufacturing enterprise.
